Second Annual Farm Dinner

Raising Money for Good, Clean and Fair Food for ALL!

This year’s Slow Food Farm Dinner was one for the books. Not only was it an incredibly beautiful evening filled with abundant memory making, but we also managed to surpass our fundraising goals! If you weren’t able to join us this year, make sure to peruse these photos and get idea of all the splendor this event held. Then, make a mental note not to miss next year’s dinner!

We have so many people to thank for this amazing evening, starting with our hosts. Community Table Farm curated the most perfect setting, in addition to growing and providing all the produce for the dinner. They also connected us with Prairie Ridge Buffalo Ranch, from whom we procured the Bison for the evening. Which leads us to the true artist of the event, chef Paul C. Reilly. He and his team designed the most beautiful menu. His crew was then partnered with students from Escoffier and Slow Food volunteers to serve the delicious food to our guests.

From the VIP hour through desert, our attendees were treated to drink options donated by The Storm Cellars, Jack Rabbit Hill, Uncle Tim’s, Cap Rock, and Lost Identity Beverages. Many also got to enjoy a charcuterie spread featuring too many local businesses to name. As guests enjoyed their pre-dinner refreshments, they surveyed our silent auction and cast their bids. The silent auction was, as always, an incredible success that brought in so much support for our programs. We are so grateful to everyone that donated to this fundraising effort. Your help was instrumental.

We’d also like to thank our incredible board, particularly the sub-committee who devoted so much time to the planning of this event. Their support and guidance was instrumental. Our MC also proved amazingly helpful in hosting this event. She even connected us with the incredible event band, Dear Marsha!

There so much appreciation and gratitude pouring from our team. We can’t begin to thank our community enough. If you helped with this event, thank you. If you donated to this event, thank you. If you attended this event, thank you.

At our 2023 Slow Food Farm Dinner we were able to provide fair and equal compensation to our producers and collaborators due in part to a grant from the Negroni Fund. We are deeply grateful for this support.
