Michelle Stinson

Michelle A. Stinson is a broadly-trained scholar and educator whose research interests span the fields of religious studies, agrarian studies, and rhetorical studies. Her current research considers topics related to food, agriculture/land care, and the Psalms. Her work has appeared in various academic journals, as well as online magazines. In addition to scholarly pursuits, Michelle has enjoyed pursuing practical training in all things ‘farm to table…to classroom,’ including experiences as an amateur vintner and formal training as a chef, as well as creating/teaching an undergrad course called ‘Food, Faith, and Place.’ She has been a Slow Food Member since 2007 and was a proud 2019 Slow Food Nation volunteer when it was hosted in Denver.
