Earth Day Seed Giveaway
In collaboration with Grow Local Colorado, The Table, Ekar Farm, and Denver University, Slow Food Denver will be participating in an Earth Day seed giveaway this Earth Day. Sign up and stop by any of our three locations throughout the city to collect seeds, for free!

Where: Various locations throughtout Denver
- Ekar will be doing their giveaway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ekar Farm (6825 E Alameda Ave, Denver, CO 80224).
- Parking is only available on Oneida Street. There will be a sign there to make sure people know to walk up to the farm.
- Slow Food Denver will be doing our giveaway from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McGregor Square (1901 Wazee St, Denver, CO 80202).
- Two parking spots will be blocked off between 19th and 20th on Wazee Street so people can pull right up to the curb.
- The Table will be doing their giveaway from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Table (2190 S. Platte River Dr.).
- There is parking available in their lot as well as in the lot at the park just to the south of our building.
Grow Local Colorado will be assisting at all locations. Denver University will be sending volunteers to all of the locations to assist with seed packaging, distribution and clean up. Thank you DU!
Stop by any of these locations and pick up seeds as well as an informational packet with planting, harvesting and gardening tending tips and techniques.
