FED Workshop – How to: Intro to Fermentation

Come join us at The Green Collective Eatery for a hands-on workshop all about fermentation! Whether you’re a beginner or a frequent dabbler in fermenting, this event is perfect for anyone looking to learn the basics of fermentation. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty as we dive into the world of lacto fermentation. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to expand your culinary skills and impress your friends with your newfound knowledge of fermenting veggies.

This event will take place outside and feature a hands-on learning experience where guests will learn from instructor Mary Cappelletti of Intentional Foods as she demonstrates how to make sauerkraut. Guests will then make their own sauerkraut to take home. Additionally, guests are invited to bring their favorite seasonal vegetable and Cappelletti will teach them how to ferment it.

The workshop will also feature light bites from The Green Collective that feature Cappelletti’s ferments. There will also be juice, tea, and water available. Join us for this fun, interactive workshop based around food preservation!

Please bring your own knife and cutting board to this event! If you’d like to ferment your favortie seasonal veggie, please bring it!

About Our Instructor:

Mary began fermenting during covid which led to the foundation of Intentional Foods in 2021 when she began selling ferments at a farmers market. Since then, she has begun selling to a restaurant, and now hosts private dinners centered around fermented ingredients. Intentional Foods is a small fermentation forward food endeavor based in Denver. Chef Cappelletti seeks to connect people with one another, their food, and their community through the creativity that can be born out of a few simple ingredients.
