Meet The Team

Sisi Dong Brinn

Food, culture, history, and identity have always been closely tied for me growing up as a Chinese immigrant. My experience makes me deeply passionate about disrupting systems of inequity and access – and I believe it is a responsibility to pave new pathways for what is possible in this country. The food system, like all the systems in this country, needs to be transformed to be more sustainable, more culturally relevant, and more equitable. All of us benefit from this transformation regardless of where we stand, and that is why I am a part of the Slow Food Denver board – to pursue the vision for a better food world.
