Featured Producer: The GrowHaus

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The GrowHaus is a local non-profit located in Denver’s Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. Consisting of an indoor farm, marketplace, and educational center, their vision is a “world where all communities have the means to nourish themselves, and our mission is to create a community-driven, neighborhood-based food system by serving as a hub for food distribution, production, education, and economic development.”

Based in a 20,000 square-foot greenhouse, The GrowHaus grows produce, distributes their food, and teaches people about healthy living. They pride themselves on the following core values: Security, Teamwork, Accountability, Stewardship, Wellness, and Innovation.

The GrowHaus uses a variety of sustainable farming systems for their food production including a hydroponics farm, an aquaponics farm, a mushroom farm, a seedling start nursery, as well as a Growasis permaculture farm.

We are excited to announce that The GrowHaus will be at this week’s Slow Food Farmers Market at The Source (6/12)!
