Seed-to-Table Workshop: Gardening 2.0

April 5, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Save the date for this Seed-to-Table School Garden Workshop, free to School Garden Alliance Members and $15 for the community! Explore the Slow Food School Garden curriculum and gain insight into valuable lessons for spring planting.

You know the basics and how to plant, now learn how to survey your garden’s needs and go into action. We will cover gardening techniques such as trellasing, cages and other supports;  season extenders, thinning and pruning!

We’ll also talk about planting potatoes in pots and in ground.  Potatoes are like a pirate map treasure chest to kids! We will also have a great guest speaker talk about an exciting seed “sensorium” that will be part of an art exhibit in Denver and Boulder.

Free seeds, frost/shade blankets, some trellis materials and Geopots.

Order now for discounted herbs to be delivered in May!

Whole Foods will satiate us with something savory to help keep us focused.
