It’s time to announce our book club selection for May!
This month we will be discussing My Year of Meats by Ruth L. Ozeki. Considered the modern-day version of Upton Sinclair’s The Jungle, My Year of Meats follows the story of a Japanese documentarian that produces a TV show sponsored by an American meat-exporting business, through her experience she uncovers some unsavory truths about love, fertility, and a dangerous hormone called DES.
