Meet The Team
I am currently a Masters student at CU Boulder in the Masters of the Environment program, specifically studying sustainable food systems. I was a leading member of Slow Food at the University of Wisconsin-Madison during my undergraduate years, and loved the community involvement and ability to teach people about a local and just food system through what we’re eating.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with an undergrad in botany and environmental studies. I went on to study at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Italy. Now enrolled at CU, I am learning professional skills and working toward becoming a I want to make a positive impact on our local food system, and I think that the positive network of people within and around Slow Food Denver will give me the tools to do so. The students in my masters program, the farmers, and the producers that I’ve met so far in Colorado made the transition to the West easy. This is an area full of passionate people who are motivated about food and the environment, and I look forward to learning more from everyone.
