Meet The Team
As a Colorado native, I have always had access to fresh fruit and vegetables but knew little of farm-to-table, sourcing local or even the injustices within the food system. It wasn’t until I was an adult my appreciation for sustainable farming/hunting practices and policies came to fruition. I work at the intersection of food and healthcare, with a focus on food-as-medicine. When not working, you will find me foraging, gardening or baking; three of my favorite things (besides my family + fur baby, Lucy). I love the adventure of foraging to find a tasty treat. Growing sprouts from seeds and enjoying the fruits of your labor. And cultivating yeast into an aroma that fills your senses. Slow Food is a movement which represents a common language for good clean food; food, which we all have access to. I am thrilled to support Slow Food Denver as a board member, and proud to advocate for our local food community.
