Grant Funding

Meet the grants behind Slow Food Denver!

Our organization receives funding through many avenues, including grants, donors, sponsors, events, and more. We are so incredibly grateful for each of these forms of support. The grants we receive are our largest source of funding and we could not do our work without them. Read on to see who helps make SFD's work possible!

Healthy Food For
Denver's Kids (HFDK)

This grant support our Youth Education program , Seed to Plate. It also funds the important collaboration between SFD, DUG, and We Don't Waste called Seed to Plate to Regenerate.

Sprouts Healthy
Communities Foundation

This foundation is funding both our Youth Education and FED Workshop programs. The organization prioritizes healthy communities by supporting both students and continued education for adults.

Tumbleweed Fund

This foundation is funding our Youth Education program, Seed to Plate. The fund supports grassroots organization that work to improve quality of life and the health of the planet.

Denver Children's Affairs

The Denver Office of Children's Affairs is funding our Youth Education program, Seed to Plate. The office supports the success of youth and aims to strengthen the city.

Negroni Week Fund

The Negroni Week Fund sponsored the 2023 Farm Dinner and will fund a FED workshop in 2024. This workshop will focus on Colorado Wines. The fund aims to change the world through food and beverage.

Teamwork

Teamwork.com providing general funding to Slow Food Denver in 2024.

Colorado Garden Foundation

The Colorado Garden Foundation supports our Youth Education programming, Seed to Plate, as well as our volunteer garden mornings. The organization strives to support horticulture and gardening education in the state.

Ent Credit Union Youth Endowment Series (YES)

The Ent YES Grant supports our Youth Education programming, Seed to Plate.  This endowment strives to support youth in the communities they serve.
