Aria Denver

Are you ready for a Crop Mob?

Come work out your spring fever at

UrbiCulture Community Farms’ newest project.

UrbiCulture Community Farms is a non-profit multi plot farm committed to providing food to people of all income levels by sustainably growing affordable, local food in the Denver metro area.

This volunteer day will involve making 24 raised beds at the new Aria Denver community Co-housing site. Warren Village, a place where low income single parents can live and get support while getting back on their feet. A senior citizen home is also located here. The garden will host a ‘pay what you can farmstand’ for the neighborhood and weekly food donation will be given to Warren Village. We will engage the community in classes and gatherings.

Work Level: Easy: raking beds; Medium/Difficult: Building beds using hammers and nails and then using wheelbarrows to fill the beds with soil and compost.

Minimum age: 16. Supervised children welcome. Community service forms welcome. Look for Candice to sign them.

What to Bring: Hammers, wheelbarrows, shovels, gloves, rakes, water, sturdy work shoes (tennis shoes at least!), layers of clothing for this time of year, sunscreen and a smile!

Food: Join us for bagels and coffee and then sandwiches after the work is done. Vegetarian options available.

Driving Directions: Aria Denver is on the corner of 52nd and Federal, across the street from Regis University. From I-70, go north on Federal, turn right onto 52nd Ave and then first left into parking lot.
