Once again, Slow Food Denver is pleased to announce our annual Farm Tour Series.
Slow Food Denver’s farm tours are designed to cultivate the enjoyment of local food by connecting city-dwellers with local farmers. Each tour is an opportunity to learn about the food system and production practices while sharing a meal together and having fun.
This summer we’ll be visiting four different farms to learn about grassfed cattle, organic produce farming, farm-to-restaurant production, custom growing models, and pasture–raised poultry. Most importantly, we’ll get to know the people who grow the food we eat.
Each event starts at 10am with a tour of the farm followed by a lunch featuring products from the farm. We’re usually finished around 2pm. Pricing includes the farm tour and lunch. Transportation will be on your own and we encourage carpooling. Tickets are available for each tour at the links below. Members- $20; Non-Members – $25; Students – $15; Child 4-12 – $10; Under 4 – no charge
Bring your family and friends or come alone – you’ll have a great time!
